history of kelbrand cam cnc
Kelbrand CAM's roots originated in 1987 when Grant Renda worked in a family run electrical business - Renda Electrical, a company which was prominent in the petrochemical, HVAC and commercial refrigeration industry for over 34 years.
In 2001 Grant obtained his master installation electrical license.
Beginning in 2006 Grant Renda started his own company - Kelbrand Electric, which specialized in the same field. During this time due to his fascination with robotics & automation he started building what would become Kelbrand CAM's first cnc router which was sold and is still operating up to this day.

In 2017 Grant's son - Brandon Renda joined the team. Together they continued to improve the design of their cnc machines as well as develop new features and add-ons to these systems.
Kelbrand CAM introduced it's first CNC Plasma table in 2020 - adding to the already well established line of products.
Fast forward to 2022, Kelbrand CAM still maintains the same goals ;

- Maintain top quality and reliable locally manufactured products
- Local support to keep customers up and running for years to come
Our cnc router machines are manufactured in Cape Town at our factory in Killarney gardens. We build the machines from the ground up using only top quality materials and state of the art equipment within the customer deadline.
We are now in the process of expanding - Kelbrand CAM has just purchased a second factory next door from our currently owned premises to keep up with the demand for our cnc products and services.
